Contagion
The Contágio Collective is a group formed by activists, artists, and communicators living with HIV, who transform their condition into political and artistic expression. Since 2019, they have actively participated in cultural events, such as the Itaú Cultural All Genres Showcase and the VIII National Meeting of RNP+ Brazil. In 2019, they premiered the play “Pode entrar, o cachorro está preso” at the Olido Cultural Center. During 2020 and 2021, they held online activities, released the short film “Sauté – une fic(sã),” and participated in exhibitions and cultural festivals. In 2022, they launched the project “Indetectável: deuses morrem porque se renovam” (Undetectable: gods die because they renew themselves), and participated in festivals such as the 1st Balaio Festival of Short Scenes and the Ocupacena Festival. In 2023, they carried out the Transmissão Contágio project, resulting in the I TRANSMISSION CONTAGIO SHOWCASE OF POSITHIVE STAGE CELLS and the premiere of the play “HÁ MAIS REVOLTA DO QUE VÍRUS NO MEU SANGUE” (THERE IS MORE REVOLT THAN VIRUS IN MY BLOOD).
